Emergencies: In the event of an emergency, I authorise Paddington’s Posh Paws to immediately seek professional Veterinary attention for my pet (at my expense). I understand that all attempts will be made to contact me in the event of an emergency.
Coat Condition: I understand that Paddington’s Posh Paws puts my pet’s comfort above all else. In the event that my pet’s coat is matted, I understand that the groomer may have to shave the matts out rather than perform a painful de-matting procedure. I also understand that if my pet is severely matted, there is an increased risk for clipper burn, cuts or irritation to occur – all efforts will be made to prevent this, however, if the dog is severely matted this is sometimes unavoidable. I also understand that matted pets take additional time and cause greater damage to equipment so there will be an additional fee (£10 per 15 minutes) added on to the regular price of the groom.
Health: I understand that grooming can be stressful to some pets and I will inform the groomer if my pet has any heart conditions or any stress related issues prior to grooming. I also understand that it is necessary to have my pet up to date on all vaccinations prior to every grooming appointment.
Fleas: I understand that if my dog is found to have fleas on arrival and has not been taken into the salon yet I will be asked to reschedule the appointment and charged a 50% cancellation fee. I understand that if fleas are spotted once my dog has entered the salon there will be an additional £15 added to my service charge to cover decontamination of the salon.
Collection Policy: I understand that if I am over 15 minutes late for collection of my dog I will be charged a daycare rate of £5 per 10 minutes late for collection.
Cancellation Policy: I understand that if I need to change my appointment time or cancel it, that I must give at least 24 hours notice so that the appointment can be offered to other customers on the waiting list. If an appointments is missed without 24 hours notice Paddington’s Posh Paws reserves the right to charge 50% of the groom for the missed appointment and clients will be required to pre-pay prior to scheduling any further appointments.
Photography and social media: I agree to allow Paddington’s Posh Paws to use my Dog’s name and any images taken whilst they are in the grooming salon for any media, marketing, advertising, illustration, trade or promotional materials. Paddington’s Posh Paws will not associate your name with any images of your dog used by Paddington’s Posh Paws online.
